As of March 12th, Switcheo’s over-the-counter (OTC) trading service is live on the primary exchange. The launch follows the release of the Switcheo OTC public beta a week prior. Switcheo’s OTC service is designed to “securely execute peer-to-peer trades of digital tokens that Switcheo cannot form a market for.”
The Switcheo team released a step-by-step guide for using the OTC service. Additionally, users seeking to trade large quantities of tokens or current pairs without support can contact the OTC trading desk for further assistance at otc@switcheo.network. (Note: the minimum ticket size for this service is US $5,000.)
Between March 12th and April 11th, 2019, trades made on Switcheo OTC are not going incur any fees.
On the release of the OTC platform, CEO Ivan Poon iterated Switcheo’s user-oriented focus on “fast transactions and easy-to-use platforms” where the user’s “assets are safe.” Poon went on to say the OTC platform is no exception, that Switcheo aims to ”continue to provide an exceptional trading experience for all traders in an uncompromisingly secure and trustless manner.”
