Thor Token has announced the launch of its mobile beta platform, “Thor Payments & Benefits”. Thor is a blockchain powered gig-economy platform that aims to connect contractors with employers, whilst offering access to retirement planning and affordable healthcare.
The Thor Payments & Benefits app is currently available on the Google Play store, with the Apple App Store version currently pending approval. Thor claims that it is the “first ever blockchain-powered store that allows you to purchase items using credits obtained in a Token Sale”.
The Android version can be downloaded from the below link:

The full release of the platform will allow network participants to purchase healthcare plans. The beta platform calls for the community to assist in testing the “sending and receiving of digital credits” through the purchase of Thor merchandise at cost price. The feedback collected will assist Thor in improving the UI and stress testing the technology to ensure that the “healthcare rollout will be seamless and devoid of the hiccups of other online health insurance marketplaces.”
Access to the beta platform is currently exclusive to participants of the THOR token sale. United States residents (except those from Montana) will be able to deposit THOR tokens into their Thor Mobile Wallet, but will not be able to withdraw until the company has obtained appropriate Money Transmitter Licenses for each state.
