Travala, a travel booking marketplace which plans to list more than half a million properties worldwide in December, has announced a partnership with Hotelbeds. Hotelbeds is the world’s largest “bedbank”, or lodging wholesaler. Travala claims that its Hotelbeds partnership, soon to be bolstered by the planned merger of Hotelbeds with its new acquisitions, the GTA and Tourico bedbanks, will give Travala “worldwide coverage of 1.5 million properties” for its upcoming beta launch in the first quarter of 2019.
