After a successful opening event in Nanjing last month, the second NEO JOY will be held on November 12th in Hangzhou featuring speakers from NEO, Looping, Qlink, Onchain and Lawchain. An English translation of the event details can be found below.

The blockchain industry is in its very early stages and the infrastructure is immature, so blockchain based services, applications and business models often face challenges getting off the ground. Along with rich, innovative applications, the development and construction of infrastructure is critical in order for blockchain technology to achieve in-depth integration.

NEO JOY @ Hangzhou blockchain technology sharing session will be held on November 12, 2017 at BodoStar, Hangzhou Internet Financial Building. The theme of this session is “The establishment of foundational blockchain facilities and services”. We will explore blockchain-based services, the establishment of underlying business support, and analyse the market potential for blockchain technologies.

NEO JOY is a community learning and networking event, self organized by NEO blockchain enthusiasts. The goal of this event is to elevate and promote understanding of blockchain technologies, such as NEO. Through face to face discussion of the various topics within the session, we hope that there will be sharing of knowledge of blockchain technology, as we participate and witness in the revolutionary innovation of blockchain technology.

Dr. Chen Wenjun, Professor
Executive President of Shanghai Lawchain Network Technology Co., Ltd.

Former Shanghai Science and Technology Research Institute executive director and Dacheng law firm financial lawyer. Dr Chen Wenjun has long been engaged in financial innovation, legal research and practice. She has served as legal advisor to a number of large financial institutions, and provided think tank services for a number of local government departments. Dr Chen Wenjun has published more than 20 papers, monographs and reports in recent years.

Peter Lin
NEO Blockchain community member and developer

Peter is one of NEO’s earliest developers and has 6 years experience in Internet technology development. Peter began learning about Bitcoin in 2013, afterwards was engaged in technology R&D with Huobi Network. Currently, he is developing for NEO and Onchain, and is experienced in the development and application of blockchain technology in public and private/consortium chains, and in the development of billing, credit information and internet finance. As one of the NEO community evangelists, Peter continues to influence more people to become involved in blockchain technology.

Weng Junjie
Onchain Core Development Engineer

Weng Junjie has over 10 years of development and solution experience at IBM, and was one of the first Fabric developers. He also contributed to Onchain’s architectural design and core development. Weng Junjie is experienced in billing, supply chain, points, credit, data exchange, share economy and other areas of blockchain application.

Xiaolu
Loopring Lab Senior Researcher

In his early career he worked as a senior engineer on the digital currency exchange at AliPay. Now he works as a senior researcher at Loopring in charge of technology research and development.
