Elastos is dedicated to creating a brand-new virtual, digital smart-economic zone based on the traditional basis of the Internet. Rong Chen spent eight years working at Microsoft on the technology of operating systems, leaving in 2000 to pursue a vision of a more secure OS where applications and peripheral devices cannot directly access the internet. The Elastos project has gone through several incarnations and is the culmination of the 17 years of work.
Registrations for the Elastos token sale whitelist opened on January 1st and will close on January 15th. The token sale will be open everyone, excluding Chinese residents. Those interested in participating can visit https://tokensale.elastos.org.
