Neo Global Development (NGD) and Celer Network have announced a joint ask me anything (AMA) event will be held on Monday, October 21st at 7:00 pm (UTC -9) through Celer Network’s official Telegram channel. Representatives will include the co-founder of Celer Network, Mo Dong, and NGD head of EcoGrowth, John Wang.
About Celer Network
In September 2019, Neo and Celer announced they had established a partnership to provide a scaling solution for the Neo blockchain. Celer Network is a second layer solution that sits between the blockchain layer and the dApp layer in a tech stack. According to its website, the platform aims to “[enable] fast, easy, and secure off-chain transactions for not only payment transactions, but also generalized off-chain smart contract[s].”
In the partnership announcement, Celer stated integration with the Neo blockchain will take place in two phases. First, Neo engineers will write Celer’s generalized state channel smart contract in C#, then merge the open-source code with Celer’s cChannel smart contract repository. This phase is tentatively expected to conclude in Q4 2019.
The second phase aims to establish a Unified State Channel standard between Neo and Celer, tentatively expected to be ready in Q1 2020.
