The next stage of the Neo APAC Hackathon begins with an online workshop dedicated to writing smart contracts in Go. Hosted by NeoSPCC – the community maintaining Neo’s Go tool suite – this session aims to provide participants with the knowledge needed to start writing smart contracts in the Go programming language. The event will be held on the Neo Discord and is scheduled for July 11 at 9:00 a.m (UTC).

This workshop is just the first in a series of planned interactive sessions to help participants of the Neo APAC Hackathon. However, the event is not exclusive to hackathon competitors, and any interested individuals are welcome to join in the learning experience. Future workshops focusing on other languages and features of the Neo blockchain will be announced soon.

The Neo APAC Hackathon is an initiative designed to foster Web3 growth in the Asia-Pacific region. Running from July to October 2023, this event offers over $1,100,000 in prizes and grant funding. With virtual sessions, on-the-ground “GAS Stations” across five major cities, and a grand finale in Hong Kong, the Hackathon seeks to attract innovative Web3 startups to the Neo ecosystem.
