Meme2Earn is returning its TIPS meme token ticker to NUDES, the original symbol launched in January 2022. The decision follows community feedback and reflects the project’s intent to embrace its origins as the first memecoin on the Neo N3 blockchain. The announcement was made on the What we talk about when we talk about memes X Space hosted by Neo.
Launched with the tagline “Send NUDES,” the project was created by members of the Flamingo Finance team and other contributors to establish a memetic identity and encourage social engagement on Neo N3.
In March 2023, the ticker was rebranded to TIPS in an effort to broaden its appeal and address marketing challenges, particularly in business-to-business (B2B) contexts. Despite these efforts, challenges persisted, and the team noted a strong community preference for the original branding.
Citing the difficulty of cultivating B2B relationships regardless of the ticker and recognizing the strength of its community’s attachment to NUDES, Meme2Earn decided to restore the original ticker.
