Neo will make appearances at the Hong Kong Web3.0 Spring Summit and the Web3 Festival Hong Kong in April. The events will highlight the activity in the sector and underscore the region’s openness to the adoption of blockchain technology.

The first event, the Hong Kong Web3.0 Spring Summit, is scheduled for April 4-5 at Cyberport. It is organized by MetaEra, a media outlet based in Hong Kong, and is sponsored by Neo. The summit is aimed at exhibiting the Hong Kong government’s support for blockchain technology, familiarizing attendees with the latest policies, and promoting knowledge exchange.

John Wang, Neo’s head of ecosystem growth, will attend and speak on a panel with other key opinion leaders. Other speakers include HashKey’s head of research, Jeffrey Ding; the CSO of Certik, Professor Kang Li; and Vivi, research lead at Ton Foundation.

Following closely on the heels of the Web3.0 Spring Summit, the Web3 Festival Hong Kong will take place from April 6-9 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. This event, hosted by Wanxiang Blockchain Labs and the HashKey Group, is set to provide content-rich discussions on Web3 technologies and the latest digital asset regulation policies.

Over 50,000 attendees are expected, to be met by over 300 speakers and 150 exhibitors from all over the blockchain space. Neo will engage visitors through a booth while Da Hongfei, co-founder of Neo, will deliver a speech titled “Rethink Layer 1”.

The festival will also welcome a roster of speakers including government officials, venture capital and exchange leadership, as well as senior representatives from various Layer 1 and Layer 2 platforms, ensuring a comprehensive exploration of the current and future state of blockchain technology.
