Neo has released v3.0.3 of Neo-CLI, fixing a number of bugs and pushing various improvements to the official N3 node’s user friendliness. The new version was released on October 8, with TestNet updated the following day.
A fix for CheckWitness in the CustomGroups witness scope and the addition of asymmetric elliptic curve encryption and decryption methods to the core are the most notable changes. An optional source field has been added to NEF files, and new prefixes/color highlights in the CLI console system have been designed to improve its usability.
The RPC API has also been updated with two new methods, getstate and findstates, which are used to retrieve historical state data.
V3.0.3 will be tested through to October 14. If the TestNet proves stable, the N3 MainNet upgrade will be coordinated, scheduled to occur at 8.00 a.m. (GMT). Around this time some brief network disruptions may be encountered.
To ensure data correctness, nodes updating to this version will need to resynchronize the full chain. An offline package can be used to expedite the process. If this TestNet runs smoothly, NGD will organize N3 MainNet Upgrade at 08:00 a.m. GMT on October 14, 2021.
