Neo founder, Da Hongfei, delivered an online presentation at the BlockDown 2020 virtual conference. The presentation was entitled Blockchain in a Post-Pandemic World, which focused on how blockchain may solve potential long-term problems that result from the coronavirus pandemic. Da also discussed new features in Neo3 and gave an update on the progress of Neo’s cross-chain interoperability protocol.

Two articles were released as part of the Neo Column series. The first article examined how the Neo Name Service (NNS) domain name dApp plans to migrate from Neo2 to Neo3. The second article explored a new oracle scheme for synchronous modes of transactions with a conditional timer that can customize transaction requirements.

Liquefy chief product officer, Drey Ng, participated in episode 28 of the Neo News Today podcast. Liquefy is a digital securities company that seeks to digitize ownership of various forms of assets. Discussion topics include Ng’s background in finance and banking, how Liquefy can digitize real estate assets, trading regulations across jurisdictions, Liquefy’s relationship with Neo, and much more.

Moonlight released an introduction to Vivid, a decentralized self-sovereign identity (SSI) solution and NeoID candidate. Vivid enables the creation and management of digital identities on Neo and provides the infrastructure for creating on-chain proofs of attribute verification.

NGD Seattle, COZ, and NEO-ONE will be delivering presentations and workshops at the upcoming REIMAGINE 2020 virtual conference scheduled to take place May 4th through May 8th, 2020. Individuals from Neo Global Development (NGD) Seattle, COZ, and NEO-ONE will be sharing presentations about developing on Neo and relevant business topics.

COZ released v2.5.0 of Neon Wallet, which includes support for nine new languages. To offer greater access to the international Neo community, v2.5.0 features language support for Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Italian, Korean, Portuguese, Turkish, and Vietnamese.

NEXT released the first in its video series about using the NeoLine wallet, which offers an overview of downloading the app.

April 14th, Guardian Circle announced the addition of more than 5,000 users in March 2020, a 2,582% increase from the month prior.

April 15th, Moonlight released RC2 of its MVP, which addressed many user experience and technical defects, and implemented several performance enhancements.

April 15th, Alchemint integrated a one-click return feature for users to return SDUSD and withdraw NEO from its smart asset reserve (SAR) contracts. The new feature aims to optimize platform performance and the user experience of interacting with the Neo blockchain.

April 16th, Moonlight released the first in its series of articles about digital identity. The article highlights the definition of digital identity, why it’s important, and the future of digital identity.

April 16th, Switcheo announced a Twitter campaign, in collaboration with the #cryptoCOVID19 Alliance created by The Giving Block. For 48 hours, Switcheo donated US $1 for each retweet of their participation announcement.

April 16th, QLC Chain announced the recent integration of a COVID-19 live updates feature in its QWallet had paved the path for a future bounty campaign for epidemic fighters. QLC Chain aims to “[compensate] the user’s expense on telecom services.”

April 16th, Nash announced its next Quarterly Report event will take place entirely online on Friday, April 24th, 2020. Nash plans on providing updates on the growth and execution of its products and services. A link to the livestream will be shared via the Nash Twitter shortly before the event.
