nOS has announced the winners of its design competition, which called for entrants to create screens for the nOS client. Overall nOS received roughly 200 entries, and was surprised and impressed by the quantity of quality submissions.
The original prizes defined at the beginning of the competition included access to the nOS pre-sale for 10 people. However, to reward the many quality contributions, nOS decided to grant all non-disqualified participants pre-sale access in various tiers according to their scores.
First place was won by Fabrio Rose Marques, who received 200 GAS and Tier 1 pre-sale access. nOS said that Fabrio’s design “entails a very welcoming, user-friendly, and unique user experience”. A demo video can be found here.
Second and third place were awarded 100 and 50 GAS respectively, and also received Tier 1 pre-sale access along with the top 10 notable screen winners. Their designs can be found here.
As part of the announcement, nOS also launched the my.nos.app portal, which is a nOS application that allows users to manage their nOS contributions and pre-sale tier. The my.nos.app portal can be accessed by downloading the nOS MVP client and signing up.
The nOS pre-sale will consist of three tiers dictating possible contribution amounts, with Tier 1 being the highest. nOS has not yet announced the contribution caps.
