O3 Labs has released a new version of its desktop wallet, integrating many of the features found on its popular iOS and Android mobile wallet. O3 for desktop is available on the Apple Store for Mac, Microsoft Store for Windows 10, and Linux through direct download from the O3 website.
The updated wallet includes the “Marketplace”, which allows users to browse through available NEP-5 tokens. It also features applications integrated through the O3 Alliance framework. Switcheo is currently the only dApp available on the Marketplace and allows users to trade on the platform directly from their O3 wallet. The next project to be integrated will be NewEconoLabs’ NEO Name Service domain name dApp.
The news feed was also added to the latest release featuring stories from NEO News Today and featured news from O3. Stories on individual projects can also be found by selecting tokens through the Marketplace.
Other quality of life updates include the addition of a dark mode and the ability to resize the wallet window. O3 has also included an address book, simplified the process of creating a wallet with Ledger devices and added the ability to import wallets from Ontology’s OWallet into O3 using a .dat file.
On future developments O3 stated: “We have a lot of other stuff in mind for both mobile and desktop and are already working on a lot of cool new functions like a native trading interface. We want to keep on enhancing the O3 platform, and with that we hope we can bring a bigger and more happy user base to both the NEO and Ontology ecosystems. We will bring the Smart Economy right to you, so stay tuned!”
