Ontology has released its November monthly report which highlights development progress, community growth, bounty applications, and more. In the beginning of November, Ontology reported 99.32% of its NEP-5 ONT tokens had been swapped for MainNet tokens.

Infrastructural development and consensus nodes

With regards to underlying structure development, Ontology developed a new Python compiler version, launched the Oracle on TestNet, and completed the design of its multi-layer functionality.

A total of 32 consensus nodes are operating on MainNet, with 17 more applicants under review from the second round of Triones consensus node candidate submissions.

The open source development community submitted 247 bounty task applications, eight of which were completed with developer rewards distributed. Another 15 tasks are in progress.

Ontology’s hiring and community growth

Ontology is hiring nearly 20 positions in a wide variety of roles. Some of these roles include marketing director, government affairs management, and multiple architect and developer roles. Interested applicants can submit relevant information to the following email address:

Staff grew in November with four new managers, an architect, and a senior software engineer.

Overall, each social media account gained new followers and community members, with the largest being 972 new members in the Telegram channel.

Notable coverage and upcoming events

In November, Ontology celebrated its one year anniversary, opened its research institute, and introduced its dApp development framework, amongst others.

On December 8th and 9th, an Ontology hackathon will be taking place in Tokyo, Japan.
