Travala has released its November monthly update, which highlights partnerships, UI/UX improvements, development, and community awareness. Travala aims to be a one-stop travel booking platform, where users can book a flight, car, and hotel in one place.
Through its partnership with Gimmonix, Travala aims to integrate automated mapping technology, API connectivity, and profit optimization tools. The partnership with Hotelbeds and Hotelspro will provide Travala with access to the worlds largest “bedbank,” or lodging wholesaler, providing access to 1.5 million properties globally.
With regards to its platform, Travala states the team worked on “major infrastructure optimization to improve system performance.”
UI/UX improvements include homepage redesign, enhanced search functionality, Facebook and Google log-in capability, and completion of its one-page checkout.
Development and testing of the Travala wallet is ongoing, which will be an important component for AVA payments, loyalty, rewards, and referral programs.
Lastly, Travala was added to the Delta Direct portfolio management application, and hosted competitions and quizzes to increase engagement and awareness of the project.
