Travala has released its monthly roundup for October. Highlights include partnerships, relocation, testing, product updates, and platform payment updates. Travala is an online travel booking platform built on top of the NEO platform, that aims to “become the first decentralized global travel marketplace that will be a one-stop shop for all travel related services.”
Travala partnered with nOS to utilize promotional campaigns, booking discounts, and incentives, in an effort to encourage and reward the use of the Travala marketplace on the nOS Client. NEO News Today recently covered the partnership. Travala also formed additional partnerships with international hotel providers, expanding Travala’s offerings to 210 countries.
Travala reported an expansion of its developer, marketing, and testing and security teams. To offer “better working conditions for our ever growing team,” the company relocated its office to Hanoi, Vietnam.
Development and testing of the Travala wallet continued, with a goal of providing users with the best use of AVA payments, loyalty, rewards, and referral programs.
With regards to its UX and security updates, the development team created separate register/login pages, added Facebook authentication for new accounts, and developed 2FA for secure AVA token withdrawals. The user profile page UI was updated and added functionality, and the Check Out page simplified so “a user can now make a booking from landing on the site within 4 clicks.”
These improvements are expected to be rolled out in November.
Lastly, Travala has been researching and developing “multiple payment options, blockchain reviews, loyalty, rewards, and referral features.” Looking forward, users can refer to the Travala Q4 roadmap for future goals and targets.
