Neo Global Development upgraded the Neo Legacy TestNet to Neo-CLI v2.13. The Neo Legacy MainNet was scheduled to follow Sep. 13. The upgrade enables the cessation of GAS generation on Neo Legacy at block height 8,000,000.

CEX.IO became the first exchange to support Neo N3. Deposits and withdrawals went live on Friday, Sep. 10, 2021. CEX.IO noted that Legacy NEO assets held on the exchange will automatically be migrated to Neo N3. 

Flamingo Finance announced its Neo Legacy to Neo N3 migration plan and released a roadmap through Q1 2022. The Flamingo team noted it expects to begin migrating its smart contracts in the middle of Nov. 2021. However, FLM reward distributions for liquidity providers will cease in late Oct. 2021 ahead of the contract migration to N3.

The InterWork Alliance merged with the Global Blockchain Business Council, and became an initiative within the GBBC to continue to build its blockchain-agnostic frameworks and standards.

NGD Enterprise lead, John deVadoss, announced he will present at the GBBC’s Blockchain Central UNGA event on Sep. 16 and 17. He intends to discuss the role of technology in accelerating progress toward the UN’s Sustainable Development goals. He will also join a panel to discuss carbon financing. 

NGD Enterprise released new versions of Neo Express and the Visual Dev Tracker, which updated TestNet seed nodes and added new commands such as policy get/set.

NGD announced it will host TOTHEMOON’s co-founders on Neo Live, an AMA-style community event on the official Neo Telegram channel. The event will take place from 3:00 p.m. (UTC) to 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Sep. 14, 2021. TOTHEMOON will airdrop ten NFTs to AMA participants. 

NGD hosted its third installment of Neo Trivia on the official Neo Telegram channel. The ten minute event took place on Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2021. Participants competed for a pool equivalent to US $200 in GAS rewards.

Neo News Today hosted Rentfuse founder, Michael Fabozzi, on episode 61 of the NNT podcast. Discussion topics includes his experience developing on Neo, unique opportunities renting NFTs can offer, how to make it easier for Rentfuse to be integrated into dApps, and much more.

In the conversation, Fabozzi noted Rentfuse is looking to become the NFT renting standard used by other dApps in the Neo ecosystem. Rentfuse is a protocol that enables NFT owners on Neo N3 to rent out their assets while maintaining ownership control. Following the Neo Frontier Launchpad, Fabozzi nodded to several new NFT projects he would like to collaborate with, including TOTHEMOON, GhostMarket, and Humswap.

COZ released periodic updates about Ledger support for Neo N3. The COZ team stated it is working through integration testing and resolving any outstanding UX needs. COZ finalized the migration implementation for Ledger, while the Ledger team is conducting security audits. 

NEXT released a combined monthly report for July and Aug. 2021, which noted the integration of a Neo N3 migration module, NFT explorer capability for the NeoTube block explorer, and more.

Sep. 6, TranslateMe announced the addition of the Indonesian language to its API. 

Sep. 7, TOTHEMOON announced its first Community Appreciation Contest and will reward ten randomly selected participants with a character in the upcoming NFT-based metaverse game. Participants must complete a range of tasks to be eligible to win. Different amounts of entry tickets for the prize drawing will be rewarded depending on the task. The contest concludes at 3:11 p.m. (UTC) on Tuesday, Sep. 14, 2021.

Sep. 7, Poly Network released its monthly report for Aug. 2021, which noted the massive attack that resulted in the loss and subsequent return of over $600 million in assets, the protocol exceeding $11.4 billion in total trading volume, and open job listings for a Community Operation Co-Builder and English Content Editor.

Sep. 8, NekoHit released its monthly report for Aug. 2021, which noted refactoring of its smart contract to make it more scalable, the addition of support for the NeoLine wallet, open-sourcing the development documentation, and a new version of the whitepaper. 

Sep. 9, Nash announced an integration with WOO Network and plans to list its WOO token on the Nash fiat gateway. WOO Network will provide liquidity on Nash’s second layer exchange, offering lower slippage and tighter spreads.

Sep. 9, Bridge Protocol updated its Passport, which included new functionality such as COVID-19 vaccine verification and dynamic network fees based on the price of BRDG.

Sep. 9, Switcheo announced an NFT giveaway campaign, where users must follow The Bear Market Twitter page, add their Twitter handle to their SWTH address, and hold a minimum of 60,000 SWTH tokens. Winners will be selected at 4:00 a.m. (UTC) on Monday, Sep. 13.

Sep. 10, Nash partnered with Alpha Finance Lab, a yield farming DeFi application, which will integrate the Nash fiat ramp service on its platform. 

Sep. 10, NeoLine announced a Neoverse NFT airdrop campaign of 50 blind boxes. To become eligible for the airdrop, participants must conduct a series of actions on Twitter. The event concludes at 10:00 a.m. (UTC) on Tuesday, Sep. 14.

Sep. 10, Demex updated its UI to include chain tags on token listings, pool displays, and a new market select menu.
