NudesToken is distributing an equivalent of US $2,200 in rewards for its third meme campaign, focusing on the upcoming Ethereum Merge. A minimum of six qualifying submissions will share from a pool of NUDES tokens, and first place will win a Nudes Army OG NFT. The contest is live and will run through Sep. 12, 2022. Additionally, 1 trillion NUDES will be airdropped to anyone who completes at least one task on the NudesArmy platform before Sep. 5.

While the meme competition might be inspired by the Merge, NUDES token and NFT rewards will be distributed on the Neo blockchain. The NUDES token is not migrating to the Ethereum ERC-20 standard, nor is there any planned Ethereum integration.

The Ethereum Merge is a significant network upgrade that will migrate the blockchain’s current Proof-of-Work execution layer to the new Proof-of-Stake consensus layer, called the Beacon Chain. The milestone upgrade is a critical component in increasing the sustainability of 2021’s most used blockchain network. The Merge will purportedly reduce Ethereum’s energy consumption by approximately 99.95%.

To participate, users must first connect their Twitter account to the Nudes.Army website. Then, they can upload meme-based images or videos up to 10 MB in size. When entering a meme for the contest, users must provide a title and select the “ETH Merge [CONTEST]” category. Once the meme has been uploaded, the entrant must then Tweet a link to their meme using the following text template:

  • 3rd place meme: $150
  • 4th place meme: $100

  • Excellence Awards: $500

The Nudes Army OG NFT is a limited edition item that will offer future benefits for token holders, such as airdrops. Alongside early access to new advancements, owners of OG NFTs will receive a stackable 50% discount on fees paid on the Nudes Army MemeSite.

The Excellence Award category is reserved for content that the NudesToken team deems high-quality memes. If there are multiple Excellence Awards, each winner will split the $500 pot evenly.

As with the previous meme competitions, there will be an airdrop of 1 trillion NUDES for users who complete at least one daily task before Monday, Sep. 5, 2022. Daily task examples include making, sharing, voting, and commenting on memes, or inviting friends. The airdrop will be split evenly amongst all qualifying wallets.
