Developer Updates
Neo SPCC released the following:
- NeoFS Node v0.54.0 “Ando”, delivering a new atomic container-with-eACL creation feature, significant erasure coding performance optimizations, and seven bug fixes across storage node and Inner Ring components. The release requires no migration from v0.53.0.
- v0.18.0 of the NeoFS REST Gateway, its REST API for interacting with decentralized storage. The update improves GET performance and adds support for non-ASCII object attributes through a new base64-encoded header, alongside refreshed dependencies including neofs-sdk-go and neo-go. It also removes RANGEHASH support and adds new object-type and origin-token handling for developers building on the gateway.
- NeoFS S3 gateway v0.45.0, its S3-compatible interface for decentralized storage. The release adds bucket namespacing and broader session-token support while modernizing the codebase by updating the NeoFS SDK and removing legacy features like object ACLs and older token formats. Operators upgrading from v0.44.0 should note that access tokens need to be regenerated and some bucket settings migrated.
AxLabs previewed Ax402, an upcoming payment layer for APIs, content, and protected resources built on the x402 standard. The tool is designed to enable machine-native payments, allowing builders to charge per API call, charge per piece of content, protect and monetize resources behind paywalls, and settle in stablecoins or other supported tokens. AxLabs described Ax402 as being close to a full release.
