VIBEHub, a company that uses volumetric video technology to create holographic images for virtual and augmented reality (AR/VR), has announced its ‘VIBE OR DIE’ NEO Competition will begin on Thursday, October 31st, 2019. An equivalent of US $2,500 in NEO is in a prize pool for distribution amongst winners.

In August 2019, Neo and VIBEHub announced a partnership to collaborate on “cross-chain communication for the next era of gaming.” Beginning with the integration of NEO and GAS onto the VIBENet blockchain. VIBENet’s first blockchain-based game is entitled VIBE OR DIE.

VIBE OR DIE is a first-person shooter that leverages the VIBENet chain to distribute player rewards. In the game, players receive or lose token rewards each time they kill or are killed within a match. User price preferences differ between game modes, which are expected to range from .01 tokens per kill/death up to 100 tokens per kill/death.

The game development team has also released a VIBE OR DIE complete tutorial guide. The guide offers support on installation, gameplay, and depositing and withdrawing NEO and GAS from the VIBEHub account.

Rules for the competition

The competition begins at 6:00 am (UTC -0) on Thursday, October 31st, 2019, and concludes at 6:00 am (UTC -0) on Saturday, November 30th, 2019.

To be eligible:

  • Players must participate in a total of 25 kills or deaths per day
  • Players must play on the NEO or GAS game modes

All eligible players have an equal chance at winning the daily random draw. Each winner will receive approximately US $80 in NEO.

Winners are randomly selected and each new round of eligibility begins at 6:00 am (UTC -0).

The winner of the daily random draw will be announced at 10:00 pm (UTC -0) on the VIBEHub Twitter and VIBEHub Telegram community channels.
